NEW! In-App and Desktop Notifications are here - plus @Tagging!
Keeping each other in the loop just got easier! Your team can now keep all the necessary back-and-forth inside Compleat instead of chasing each other over email, Teams or Slack.
In-app notifications in the top-right of Compleat, plus desktop notifications, give you a timely heads up when these things happen:
- A transaction has been forwarded to you for approval
- An approval that was forwarded to you has been withdrawn
- A transaction is pending your approval
- A transaction you created has been approved by someone
- A transaction you created has been denied by someone
- Someone tags you in a note
- Someone tags a team you belong to in a note
Tagging
You can also now tag a user or a whole team with @ in a note on an order or invoice, and they'll get a notification that takes them straight to it, plus an optional desktop notification if they've chosen to be notified while working outside the app.
Desktop Notificiations
Desktop notifications arrive even when your browser is closed, so an Awaiting approval or a tag will always find the right person or people regardless of whether they're online in Compleat or neck-deep in spreadsheets.
To choose to receive desktop notifications, just click the bell icon in the top-right of Compleat, and switch on the Desktop notifications toggle. You might be prompted to allow notifications in your browser.
If you want to receive desktop notifications on multiple devices, like a phone and a laptop, you'll need to open Compleat on both those devices to enable the desktop notifications.
You can choose which in-app and desktop notifications you receive from your profile, covering forwards, withdrawals, pending approvals, approvals, denials, and being tagged directly or as part of a team. The same choice for email notifications is coming soon!
Receipting Nudges
And lastly, new receipting nudges prompt order owners in the bell and by email once an order is a set number of days past its delivery date. Reminders can then repeat daily, every other day, every three or five days, or not at all. Admins can switch on receipting nudges in Configuration > Notifications.
Why You'll Love It
- Nothing slips through: Approvals, tags & overdue receipting reach the right person, even with the browser closed.
- Conversations in context: Notes, tags and the transaction itself all sit together, with no digging through inboxes.
- Less noise: Keep the notifications that help you and switch off the ones that don't.
Get Started
Notifications are live and ready to use! You'll need to choose which notifications you'd like to receive in your user profile, and click the bell icon in the top-right of Compleat to turn on desktop notificatons.
Admins need to turn on receipting nudges in Configuration > Notifications.
NEW! Reports that span every company in Compleat
How It Works
If you run more than one company in iCompleat, you can now build reports that span all of them, not just the one you're logged into.
Organisation Reports work just like the custom reports you already know. Use the report scope to pick which companies to include, then apply the same filters you're used to and expand any row to see its line data.
You'll find Organisation Reports in the same place whichever company you're in, and the usual team and user restrictions still apply, so people only see what they should.
Reports are at header level for now. Analysis dimensions aren't included in this first release, as these can vary from company to company, but they're on our roadmap.
Why You'll Love It
- The whole picture at once: See spend and activity across your entire organisation in one report.
- No more stitching spreadsheets: Say goodbye to running the same report in every company and merging the results by hand.
- Nothing new to learn: It works just like the custom reports you already use.

Go to your Reports area to create your first organisation report.
NEW! Easily update your email and password in Compleat
You can now easily and securely update your email address and password for logging in to Compleat. Just head to your user profile, and click Change email or Change password to update your details.
If your administrator has activated two-factor authentication, you'll be taken through the steps to confirm the change.
Administrators can restrict their team from being able to update their email address if necessary. Just head to Configuration > Company > Behaviour Settings and switch off the Allow users to change their email address toggle.
Why You'll Love It
- Self-serve updates: Change your login details without needing to ask an admin or Support.
- Secure by design: Two-factor authentication confirms it's really you before anything changes.
- Admins stay in control: Decide whether your team can update their own email address.
Get Started
To update your details, head to your user profile and click Change email or Change password. If you're an administrator and want to stop users changing their email address, head to Behaviour Settings to switch the toggle off.
FIXED!
When you received an unsupported file type as an attachment with a transaction, a blank screen appeared. We've fixed this so that you'll now get a "File type can't be previewed" message, with the option to download the file instead.
