Hi, there!
Here's some fun reading for you - a list of what's new, improved, and fixed for you in iCompleat this week. Enjoy your updates!
What's new
Land in your Saved tray after submitting an order!
This helpful enhancement to the way that iCompleat takes you through processing orders should make getting orders to your suppliers a much quicker, more intuitive task.
Now, once you click a workflow to send an order for approval, iCompleat automatically directs you straight back to the Saved tray, where you can select exactly which order to process next. You can immediately see that the number of orders in the tray has been updated, helping you gauge your remaining workload.
Previously, iCompleat would direct you to the next order awaiting processing according to when it was created. We recognise that you may want to prioritise certain orders over others, so this simple alteration should give you more control over the process of sending more time-sensitive orders for approval first.
Grab and drop your e-invoicing email address
Sometimes the smallest change can make the biggest difference, and the brand new ‘copy to clipboard’ button on the iCompleat homepage is a prime example.
Simply click the button, located next to your e-invoicing email address under the homepage tiles, and your e-invoicing email address will be instantly copied to your clipboard ready to paste and share with your suppliers.
The ability for suppliers to email invoices direct to iCompleat is one of the many advantages of iCompleat’s automated process, and we want to make that process as smooth as possible for you and your suppliers. With the correct details, suppliers can email their invoices direct to iCompleat ready for immediate processing.
This not only gives your suppliers clarity on exactly where to send their invoices, but also eliminates the need for you to forward invoices to iCompleat from your own inbox, or even scan in paper invoices and attach them to an email.
See the matching PO number when you process an invoice
The invoice edit screen is your last point of contact with an invoice before you submit it to a workflow, so it’s important that it contains all the information you need to code the invoice correctly and send it for approval. Therefore, we’ve added a new Purchase Order Reference field to the invoice edit screen to add extra context to the invoice you’re processing.
Whether an invoice is fully matched, part-matched, over-matched, or has a supplier mismatch status, the invoice edit page now displays the purchase order number of the matching order to remind you that the invoice has been matched.
You can still get a detailed view of the invoice’s matching status under the ‘Match’ column in the invoice tray, or on the invoice summary screen.
Fixes
'Create new order' button intermittently hidden
The order button in the bottom-left of the trays in Manage orders was getting intermittently hidden. We've fixed it!
