These steps tell you how to view and amend layouts.
As you update a layout, remember to click Save Layout so that no changes are lost when you move between tabs.
When updating an invoice layout, be sure to update the credit note layout otherwise they will fail to post.
This is where you can view all of the layouts for a company .
Select a layout.
In this example, we are selecting the Invoice layout.
Do one of the following to amend the layouts basic details:
Click the Name field to amend the layout name.
Click the Code field to update the layout code.
Select if the layout is to be active or inactive.
Select from the drop down list to change how the layout is used for posting purposes back to the connected finance system.
If you are amending an order layout, you will not see this option.

You can edit any of the layout items in the list. Depending on the item type, there will be a toggle or drop-down list that allows you to amend the item. For more information, see Exploring the Field Configuration User Interface.
Enable or disable the option for a balancing line to be added to the transaction when it is sent to the finance system, to correct the sum of all lines. For more information, see Exploring the Balance Lines User Interface.
If you are amending an order layout you will not see the Balance Lines option.
Select the settings group you want to amend. All of the settings for that group are listed in either the Header or Line columns.
Select a setting to update it. If a setting cannot be edited, the message "This field does not require any special configuration." appears.
