View an order's status and submit it online or email it as a PDF
iCompleat is configured to automatically issue all orders to suppliers once they're fully approved, but Administrators can override this on an individual supplier basis.
If an order hasn't submitted automatically - either because of your iCompleat configuration, or because it was placed through Integrated Online Buying and needs to be completed online - you can easily submit it.
Follow these steps to identify an order's submission status and, if necessary, manually submit the order.
See the submission status of an order
- On the homepage, click Orders.
- Go to the Approved tray.
- Orders that have been successfully sent to the supplier have a green tick in the right-hand column.
Hovering over this tick displays details of how, when and to what email address the order was submitted.Orders that haven't been successfully sent to the supplier have a pink warning triangle in the right-hand column. Hovering over this tick displays a message telling you that the order hasn't been sent, along with the option to resolve this.
Submit an order online or via email
If an order in the Approved tray hasn't been sent to the supplier and is displaying the pink warning triangle, you can submit the order online or via email depending on whether the order was placed with Integrated Online Buying.
Here's how.
- In the Approved tray, click your order.
- The order summary appears.
In the bottom-left, go to Actions, and click Issue to Supplier. - Enter the supplier's email address.
- A pop-up appears with a drop-down menu to choose how you'd like to send your order.
To email the order, select Send my order via email from the drop-down, enter the supplier email address, and click the button to issue it.
Then, skip to step 7.
To submit the order online, continue to step 5.
- To submit the order online, select Complete my order online from the drop-down, and click the button with the supplier's name on it.
- Complete the order on the supplier's website.
- In iCompleat in the pop-up, click the Mark as ordered button that now appears.
- The order is now marked as submitted.
