All you need to know about integrating iCompleat with MIP Fund Accounting
To transfer transactions from iCompleat to MIP, you will utilize the Compleat-MIP Connector. Each organization will be assigned a unique URL (web address) to access the corresponding company within that organization.
A separate Compleat-MIP Connector will be required for each organization you maintain in MIP that is integrated with iCompleat.

Using the Connector
To begin, access the Connector and enter your login credentials
The below options appear. Keep scrolling to find out more about each option.
About the Options
Initialize – Use this option only when setting up the system or as directed by support.
Arguments - Use this option only as instructed by support.
Regular Synchronization – This option will run the following routines:
- Send MIP Values to iCompleat
- Load Approved Invoices
- Send Invoices to MIP
Send MIP Values to iCompleat – This option will populate iCompleat with the following:
- Vendors
- Chart of Accounts
- Distribution Codes
- User Defined Fields (any fields shared with iCompleat)
Load Approved Invoices – For MIP On-Premises users only: This option retrieves invoices from iCompleat that have not yet been transferred to MIP and loads them into the Connector.
Send Invoices to MIP – This option retrieves any invoices from iCompleat that have not yet been transferred to MIP and sends those transactions to MIP.

About More Options
Change MIP User / Session Pfx – This option is used to update the MIP user credentials configured in iCompleat for accessing MIP. Additionally, it allows you to set a Session Prefix, which populates the MIP Session ID created during invoice transfers.
Pending Transactions - This option displays a list of transactions loaded into the Connector and awaiting transfer to MIP.
This form allows users to review transactions pending transfer to MIP. Users can choose to skip the transfer, edit the transaction before transfer, or proceed as is.
Any codes applied to the transaction that are incompatible with MIP can be modified to ensure successful transfer.
Clicking Skip removes the transaction from the pending transactions list and moves it to the Error-Posting Transactions list.
Selecting any line opens the edit form shown below, allowing the user to input specific codes to override the original coding applied in iCompleat.
Changes should be made carefully, with appropriate notations for reference.
Error Posting Transactions – This option will show any transactions that were not successfully transferred to MIP or were previously flagged as “Skipped”.
These transactions may be moved back to the Pending Transactions list for reposting into MIP on a subsequent transfer.
Posted Transactions - This option will show all transactions successfully transferred to MIP. You may choose to move back any transaction to the Pending Transactions list in case you need to repost the transaction into MIP.
